The Fringe at the Royal Scots Club

The Fair Intellectual Club
by Lucy Porter
The Fair Intellectual Club, written by Lucy Porter gives an insight into a secret club set up in the 18th century by girls who wished to be more than just pretty things to be married off at the earliest opportunity by their fathers. They wanted to learn, debate and generally be treated as the equals (at least) of their male peers. Directed Michael Mulligan, it has a great cast and a superb script licensed direct from Lucy Porter herself.

Outside Mullingar
by John Patrick Shanley
Award-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley’s dark-humoured, moving Irish comedy brings together two lovelorn central characters, Anthony and Rosemary. Will they overcome family rivalries, a bitter land feud and their own romantic fears to find true happiness?
